Hand Cycling Record Intact

Dr. William Tam fell short in his attempt to break the hand-cycling world record of 466 km in 24 hours when he clocked a total distance of 264 km.  Apparently, supporters of Dr. Tam have filed an appeal because he was on a tartan track rather than on a road track. Not sure how that would make a 200 km difference, but in any event, hand-cycling for 24 hours is an accomplishent and hand-cycling 264 km is a huge accomplishment.
